The Water Challenge is an annual fundraising event by WaterAid that coincides with World Water Day on the 22nd of March. We encourage the community to take part in the challenge to raise awareness and funds to provide water for those without. With access to clean water, less people will die from diarrhoeal diseases, less children will miss out on school and less women and girls will need to make long, dangerous journeys to collect water.

Our community is fortunate enough to have access to safe and clean water, 1 in 9 people around the world do not have this luxury. If you want to help make a difference, registration is free for the challenge and every $70 raised provides safe, clean water for a child in need.

You can either:

  • Drink Just Water Ensure that water is your only beverage for the month of March (14 or 30 days of the month) Or
  • Walk for Water  Set a distance goal and walk or run between the 14th and 20th of March. Encourage your school or workplace to get involved.
