Hammond Park Catholic Primary School

The Hammond Park Catholic Primary School (HPCPS) opened its doors in February 2013, proud to be the first school for Hammond Park and surrounding suburbs.  From 17 students and 5 staff members, the school has grown to hundreds of students with enrolments continuing to fill fast.

School Principal, Chris Cully said the learning programme offered at HPCPS is designed to address the need of all students and aims to provide the broadest range of educational experiences.

“We aim to develop practical, purposeful skills and critical creative thinking,” Mr Cully said.

“We want every student to enjoy success, challenge and achievement in a caring environment.”

The school prides itself on its highly experienced and dedicated teaching staff.

“Our teachers make every effort to keep up with the latest educational developments. Our school is digitally enabled and the use of technology is considered an important part of a child’s learning.”

The school also encourages Bush Play (nature) learning experiences, promotes the Aussie Optimism wellness programme, has specialist Art and Music teachers, is Sun Smart, Asthma friendly and Crunch and Sip authorised.
