Jandakot Volunteer Bushfire Brigade is a 24/7 volunteer fire brigade, which utilises local area knowledge, current best practice training methods and community involvement to ensure a safer area.

The JVBB were invited to attend our annual Hammond Park Christmas Party presented by Vivente Estate back in December last year, where Richard Noble & Company together with Gold Estates were proud to present them with a cheque for $3,000. The money was put towards a fit-out on existing appliances and critical medical equipment for the Brigade.

The brigade attends to approximately 150 incidents per year and is purely staffed by volunteers. Crews can be deployed all over the state and their services may be required outside the metro areas. In 2015 the Jandakot VBFB deployed two crews of approximately 8 people, to assist with the catastrophic bushfires that burned through Esperance.

This year the Brigade is celebrating 50 years in operation! We congratulate the Jandakot VBFB for their half a century milestone and thank them for all their efforts and community support. Follow them on Facebook to show your support.
