This year’s wildflower display across Western Australian has been an impressive spectacle due to a decent amount of rainfall this season.

Did you know that Western Australia’s wildflower collection is the largest on Earth?!

More than 12,000 species can be found in Western Australia, 60% of which are found nowhere else on Earth. They can be found all over the state, from coast to forest and city to outback.

Top tips for wildflower enthusiasts

  • TAKE nothing but photos – picking wildflowers is illegal and can attract a $2000 fine.
  • RESPECT private property and don’t trespass.
  • PROTECT canola crops and prevent the spread of disease by staying out of canola fields.

You could imagine our excitement when we spotted wildflowers growing amongst the retained bushland at Vivente. But the excitement doesn’t stop there, once our new public open space is completed – you will be able to sit amongst the wildflowers!

One of the things we are passionate about at Richard Noble and Company is creating features in our parks that will help bring people together in a very natural and social way. Not only will the new public open space feature fitness training and wellness facilities, it will also have some beautifully designed passive spaces, where you will be able to relax, read a good book and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. We’ve got your morning routine covered!
